Started the day off slow then later in the day my friend lands a male Musky, small mid 20’s. Then Mike says lets change your bait to this bait, made by Tony Grant!!!

I figured there had to be a female swimming around near this male my friend caught then sure enough couple casts in same area I felt like I had one on but I thought it was like a tree limb then I stopped reeling then it finally pulled like I’ve never felt before!

Took a good 5 minutes or so to get her in and as I was holding on to her reeling her in. I was yelling “this is a huge one guys OMG!!” When she surfaced Mike was so excited we thought was a state record.

Mike netted her and got her in the boat but didn’t weigh her, because I didn’t wanna kill her,” I’m a catch and release guy” and I love fishing to death!!! She measured 48″ with a girth of 23-1//2″.

I really wished we could have weighed her to possibly make state record, because she was heavy. But I would never kill a fish like this ever period,”she lived this long to be this big for me to catch as my first ever Muskie. So let’s let her live longer and get bigger.” This wouldn’t have been possible, putting me on this Muskie, without Mike LoPresti, Mike Lopresti’s Musky Expeditions and Tony Grants Rattlin Shad !!!
