This Saturday (June 28th) and Sunday (June 29th) is Walleye Contest Weekend. To enter, please stop by Lakeside and donate $5. to our lake restocking fund. Sign in on the sign up sheet. You must be signed up, BEFORE you go fishing to enter any fish.

If you sign up on Saturday, you are also entered for Sunday. You do not need to sign up twice.

The winners will be determined by the heaviest legal Walleye.  Walleye must be over 18″.

Walleye must be caught at Shabbona Lake between the hours of 6 AM & 7 PM, Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th.

Weigh in must be at Lakeside’s certified scales.

Lots of Walleye being caught this Summer along the weedlines on slip bobbers tipped with leeches or nightcawlers.
