A big thank you to SLSC members and non members who came out to help Saturday. Started at 8:30 in about 40 degree temps. Placed trees in areas that had existing structure. Increased the crib in Somonauk bay we use for the Lions sightless ice fishing. Placed the rock we didn’t use for Rockfest in the area we did last year. We used the larger rock for shoreline at pier 5 that was eroding. A big thanks to Drift Club and Smallmouth Alliance for the donation of the rock. Wouldn’t have got done without them. Thanks to Denny and Clint at Lakeside for their help. Thanks to Mike, the very famous chef for cooking the brats and hotdogs. We also had Nicole and Eli from N.I.U. doing some filming and interviews.
