Quad County Hawg Hunter is hosting a fishing seminar and fundraiser

The Quad County Hawg Hunter is hosting a fishing seminar and fundraiser at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 22 at the Plano American Legion, 510 E. Dearborn St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, free for kids 12 and younger. The event is open to the public.

Speakers will include Aaron Sands discussing Shabbona Lake muskies and Bill Guerrini speaking about Illinois River walleye and sauger fishing. Raffles include a Canada trip to Indian Lake Chain near Vermillion Bay, walleye and musky fishing items. Donations of canned goods for the Kendall County Food Pantry purchase raffle tickets for a rod and reel combo. Food and refreshments will be available. Proceeds benefit Illinois musky fisheries projects.
