On Saturday, December 14th, 2013, Shabbona Lakeside will be hosting an Ice Fishing Seminar from 9 AM – 11 AM at Pokanoka’s Cafe, located in the main concession building at Shabbona Lake State Park.

Instructor will be Ice Fishing Tournament Pro Jim Kopjo. Jim is known as the Crappie Professor. Jim fishes the Ice Fishing Pro circuit during hard water. During the Summer months, Jim is a guide at Shabbona Lake.

Jim will cover all topics relating to Ice Fishing. This seminar will be geared to both the beginner and the advanced Ice Fisherperson.

Lakeside will have all of its ice tackle available, several specials going on.
