This morning in the rain, Larry, Ronnie, Clint & I placed 1,256 Walleye, average size 8″, into Shabbona Lake. They all looked very healthy. It usually takes 3 years for them to reach a legal 18″ size limit. By their 6th -7th year they are well on their way to being over 10 pounders.

They were delivered by Logan Hollow Fish Hatchery. They cost $1.85 each. The delivery charge is $175. Total cost is $2,498.60. All of this money was raised by donations made during Fishing Open Weekends and by customers throwing their change in the donation jars at Lakeside.
