All I can say is the fish played one giant April fools day joke on lots of fishermen today. Water was 53-56 degrees in shallow. Winds kicked up in the afternoon and made fishing most of the lake difficult. Other than breaking my ultralight spinning rode I managed to snag into this old fence by the new rock piles while trolling for Muskie. It took a half hour of to get unsnagged. After the paint roller wouldn’t unhook it, I used the boat anchor and after many attempts I was able to rip this hunk of fence up with my super shad rap along with another guys super shadrap. Snagged this off the old farm house road bed where the last couple Rockfests were.

Only fish I saw caught was a decent bass up real tight to the bank. Oh well it was nice to get the boat out for the first voyage of the season and play with my new humminbird with down imaging. – Mr. Sunman
