I watched last night’s firework’s show from the Campground. It was wall to wall people. Many, many times the crowd erupted into applause as the show captured the crowd. It was by far the best show we have put on. As the crowd dispersed after the show, everyone was commenting about what they had just seen. Best fireworks, ever!!! Wow, that was great!!! Fantastic!!!
As I watched and listened to the crowd, it really hit me, why we do the things we do, for others that we do not even know. Not everyone has the opportunity to do that.
We have a very small Fireworks Committee (4) who put in lots of time organizing and raising money for the event ($8,500 budget this year). To see and hear the kids and the big kids(adults) reactions to the fireworks, it is a real pleasure for us on the committee to blast this annual event every year!
